Mrs. Quin & other fun Phillip things...

This past weeekend, I had the honor of being a part of a beautiful hill country wedding for two wonderful friends - Miss. Lauren Sherman and Mr. Blair Quinius.

I met Lauren at Baylor about 6 years ago.  We were both speech pathology majors. Coincidentally ,we became neighbors for 3 years, we went to Honduras together, and then we became roommates during graduate school! She was a perfect roommate. She was clean, she taught me how to cook yummy things, (and she was patient with me when I messed up -- even if it was Hamburger Helper. Oops!) and she was the best study parter EVER. (Did I mention that she made a 4.0 in grad school?)

Lauren and Blair are such a fantastic couple. They love each other and they love the Lord! Here are a few pictures from the weekend....

 Precious.

I love you Mrs. Lauren Quinius. You made a beautiful bride. I was thrilled to be a part of your big day!

Congratulations Blair & Lauren! Blessings to you as you begin a wonderful adventure together. Can't wait to visit Hondy! :)

While I was in San Antonio at the wedding, Kyle was enjoying some "guy time" with friends on Lake Travis in Austin to celebrate the upcoming wedding of a friend.

We both arrived back in Dallas on Sunday afternoon, went out to dinner, (Olive Garden gift card--thanks Mom!) and then began brainstorming where we were going to watch the MAVS Game 6.  Being the frugal people that we are, we don't have cable at our apartment, so we put our heads together to find a spot to watch the game... we decided to go downtown to Lincoln Park at the American Airlines Center. It was AWESOME! We had so much fun cheering the MAVS onto victory with everyone there.

Here is a pic of us right after the Mavs won...

People were going CRAZY after the game!

That's all for now! Have a wonderful weekend!
Bethany
