DIY Laundry Rack

My sweet DIY sidekick {He actually refers to himself as my “DIY Slave”} made me this oh-so-functional Laundry Rack!

One of my chores in the house is to take care of the laundry. And, rightfully so because I can be a little picky about how some of my clothes are washed & dried. For example, I absolutely have to hang dry all of my jeans or else they will shrink in the dryer and come out too short!
Before my wonderful husband made this rack for us, I was hanging jeans, shirts, etc all over the house…I’m thankful that I now have ONE place to put these air drying clothes!

A few months ago, I found this idea on Pinterest. And, I thought, "we could make this!" So we went to work...

Here she is in my itty-bitty laundry room!

At the top, we placed a hook and some rope to determine the placement of the rack. I just tie a bow to decide how far out I want the rack to go.

Depending on how many items of clothing need to be dried, I can set the rack at different placements.

And, my favorite part…the little knobs!
